Dear Diana, Jenny, Board & Volunteers,
Thanks so much for everything this past weekend! The show was great, the enthusiasm high, the crowds large and energetic. You guys obviously know what you are doing and I really appreciate all your efforts. It was an honor to do your show!

“Thanks for including me in your TOP NOTCH show!”
Dear Diana & Volunteers & CBAF Support,
I was recommended your show by my friend Adam Homan (metal sculpture). I had to write to THANK YOU for putting on such a class acts festival. I do about 10 shows a year, and shows like yours (few & far between) are what make me LOVE my job! We artists so appreciate the great hospitality, fantastic food, cheer & helpful booth sitters, easy load in and out, reasonable hours, etc. Also, the clientelle/customers at Crested Butte were so enthusiastic & pleasant. I had a great experience all around and hope to be back. Thanks for including me in your TOP NOTCH show!

“Some of the best examples of photography I have seen.”
Dear Diana & Volunteers & CBAF Support,
There is something flat out cool about Crested Butte, as a resident you may or may not take it for granted but from the first hour (except for a crabby jeweler that chose to admonish me for showing up early to set up, I honestly thought it was one pm!) it was warm, friendly, and a marvel to be a part of. I was by the coffee house on the east end. Got to know the owner and he actually bought a piece. No animosity from the local business people, do you know how rare that is these days with everyone fighting for the same buck? Sunday morning I went to the Paradise for breakfast, it was packed at 7:30, and as I stood waiting, a local waved me to his table to join him. So, I got the insiders lowdown on life in Crested Butte. Met a number of others that not only welcomed us back from last year, and left with looking forward to next year. What ever is in the water up there, ya’ll should bottle it and sell to anyone with a crabby outlook.
So, it’s not just the show, it’s how refreshed we feel leaving it. It’s almost like sales are secondary to just being there for the weekend. But the show, from the perspective of the artists, wow. You guys set the bar for jurying in some very talented and varied and creative people. Some of the best examples of photography I have seen.
Anyway, I did a blog on your show, and you may find it fun to view here.

“Thanks for the great art festival!”
Dear Juliette and Annie: ,
I’m checking back in to say thank you for all your efforts to make the Crested Butte Arts Festival such a success!
The Thursday evening check-in was helpful because we had our information and were ready to go Friday morning. I appreciated the staggered load-in and the street staff that kept things orderly. We especially enjoyed the benefits of the Artists Lounge and the Artists Cocktail Party on Saturday evening. Unusually good quality food and drinks! The connection to Three Seasons Condos worked well for us because they were reasonably close and pleasant to stay in.
Overall, it was a great weekend for us and hope to see you next year!
